Khiry Bivins, better known by his stage name Sk8tie, is an american rapper from Jacksonville, Fl. He is an upcoming independent artist that has been doing music since the age of nine. Sk8tie first started doing music because his older brother came home from a Birthday Bash with a cd full of upcoming artist (Future, Skooly, & other Atlanta artist) at the time.
Throughout his childhood he created music with his brother and friend, continuing to develop his craft and get comfortable with his sound. Sk8tie’s music is influenced by TI, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane & Boosie, with other notable artist. Leading into summer of his ninth grade year, Sk8tie didn’t have much of a childhood - taking care of his mother due to medical conditions. Prior to his mother passing away, Sk8tie made a promise to his mother that he would succeed in the music industry - “He’s doing it for her!”
Sk8tie performed in and around Florida at Jacksonville Landing, 1904 Jacksonville Music Hall, Jordan Davis Bash/Memorial Service and other nightclubs; Fort Valley, Ga at Saggy’s After Dark; Radio interview in Los Angeles, Ca on The Social Hour & The Full Blown Laboratory in Atlanta, Ga. He has been featured in publications Say Cheese Digital, World Star Hip-Hop, and Vevo. Last year, Sk8tie released Mixtape “Sacrifice” hosted by DJ shab (Tokyo Jetz DJ).
Currently Sk8tie is pushing hit single “What’s Real” reaching new heights & gaining instant buzz. He is back in the studio to make more music for the fans. Cinematic Music Group can also agree with approval of his music as they continue to keep their eyes on Sk8tie through social media.
